The exhibition: Camera to Canvas, is long overdue. Christine Bode’s paintings usually get dispersed amongst family and friends, without first coming together to show.
Christine studied art in Toronto at Ontario College of Art in 1971 but ultimately moved to Thunder Bay and started a family here. Christine sculpts and paints using various materials but this show, ‘Camera to Canvas’ is comprised of acrylic paintings. This exhibition features recent paintings from Tenerife, Spain, from a trip out west after the pandemic, and from near her summer place in Northwestern Ontario.
