Creatures in my mind is an authentic look into the mind of Noah Tuomisto. Noah was primarily a painter, with a daily practice focused on others’ interests; “I used to paint what I thought people wanted to see, over the last six years I’ve only made what I’ve wanted and this is a collection of that. The paintings are subconscious & spontaneous reflections of my inner thoughts. Starting without a plan allows for me to work more freely and allows whatever I’m thinking of to flow out. I've been bringing that into my tattoo designs as well; when drawing flash and pushing for a more painterly approach in my tattoos.””

Growing up in Thunder Bay, Tuomisto was the black sheep in his family.

He completed the Centennial College’s Fine Arts Studio Program and During his time there, the creatures began to escape. After finishing school in 2020, the Covid pandemic sent Tuomisto back to Thunder Bay. He began a side project of commissioned skateboard grip tapes, worked with Eclectic skate shop to design a skateboard graphic and soon after, he began a tattoo apprenticeship with Studio 449.

The career switch inspired Tuomisto to start creating again.

Whenever he can, Tuomisto tries to bring his painting into tattooing whether its his flash designs or working on custom pieces for clients.
