My attachment to place and the region I live in define my identity and inform my imagery. The imitations of human, animal and landscape elements in contexts of my work are intimately related to this rugged landscape in which I live. It allows for repeated exploration with its rich and varied history. It speaks of poetry to me, with flickers of magic realism in the grandeur of its landscape.
